Troon Primary - Picks up top art prize

Congratulations to Troon Primary School who this week were presented with the 'Rita Cotter Prize' for students submissions to the Troon Art Club's Summer Exhibition.  The Exhibition in July 24 saw over 1,200 visitors over the two weeks. Troon Primary won our overall prize amongst stiff competition from other schools in Dundonald and Troon.  Troon Primary’s pupils picked up awards in several categories, including:

·         Zaina - Senior 1st prize

·         Emily - Junior 2nd prize

·         Chris - Senior 3rd prize

·         Maisy - Senior Highly Commended

·         Eva - Junior Highly Commended

Troon Art Club are delighted by the high standard of submissions and we hope to see more schools and students contribute to next year’s Summer Exhibition.
